The ceramic pieces depict a sculptural group composed of a series of organic forms. Their composition is part of an ongoing investigation which explores Cycladic references, environment and architectural space. The individual pieces interact and shape the space around them to form a dynamic unified whole. The pieces are hand built from porcelain and stoneware using a combination of coiled, slab, and pinch method. The surfaces are subtly worked with a variety of tools and stamps, but mainly with the hands, which leave traces of the forming process.
